What are the rental terms?
Our minimum hire is 7 days. Long-term leases run from 1 month to 5 years, with options for lease-only or lease-to-buy. We do not offer single-day hires.
Do I need specific licences?
Yes, drivers must hold the appropriate licence for the vehicle class. A Dangerous Goods endorsement is required when carrying dangerous goods.
Where is pick-up?
We are based in Tamahere, Waikato. Pick-up is from our yard during business hours, and delivery or collection can be arranged across New Zealand for a fee.
Can SS Rentals arrange permits?
Yes. We can arrange 50MAX or HPMV permits where required, matching the vehicle, GCM, and route so the unit can operate legally.
